Part of the Water Goddess series I've been doing for a while, this time with Rosie on our recent shoot. When Rosie suggested her tiara and diamantine necklace I thought it would make a nice contrast to the blue of the post-dusk water.

I'm finding it interesting the way the post-dusk light works at the local falls. While the water gets a stronger blue tint to it after the sun sets the models' skin gets lighter and in some cases quite alabaster.

How is she standing by a waterfall and not all wet?

She's about a meter in front of the falls and this was one of the first shots. As the shoot went on she got wetter but this one was my favourite from the shots we did :-)

ok... I just have to note that today I did a painting using this setting, (wider shot catching more of the area above the falls.) as an inspiration in the painting.. however I think I totally screwed up the area above the falls, and also. My painting really look nothing like the photos, (no models) and only has the falls as a reference in them... and I do not think I caught them very well.. I was doing everything from memory...

I'll send it to you one I take a photo of it.. (don't have that big of a scanner)
